Carson Family Legacy

Watermark’s new home and partnership with Christ Church at Grove Farm is beautiful for many reasons, one being the story and legacy of the Carson family involvement in both organizations. The original owner of the property where Christ Church is built was Helen Grove. The Lord gave her a clear vision and prayer for the land to be used to advance the Kingdom of God. When the Lord called a group of families in the Sewickley area to begin Christ Church, Helen blessed them with the land. One of those founding families was The Carson’s: Terry, Judy and their daughter Robyn. Robyn has wonderful memories of the first services taking place in their home and witnessing the faithful leadership of the growing church. Mr. Carson sadly passed away, leaving behind a legacy for Robyn and her family to carry on. One way Robyn has carried the lessons from her Dad forward is by partnering with Watermark in the education of her children. When she heard about the need for a new building and developing partnership between Watermark and Christ Church, she knew the Lord was at work. Mr. Carson's grandchildren would soon attend class on the property, further fulfilling the vision of Helen and her father. In honor of her Dad and this beautiful story, we would love for you to consider giving toward Watermark's new home as we honor both Terry and Judy Carson's life and legacy.
